At World of Truffles, we celebrate the rich tradition of truffle harvesting, deeply rooted in the heart of Croatia. Our passion for these exquisite fungi inspires us to share their unique flavors with the world.
We are four friends – Deni, Mikele, Ivan and Paulo – who decided to connect together and present our passion and love for truffles on the Japanese market. The four of us call home a small region in Croatia by the name of Istria – popularly called the ‘terra magica’ which would mean a magic land. Except beautiful nature, landscapes and amazing sea views… there’s something more this land in the Istrian region is hiding…it is the mysterious mushroom, known as the most expensive mushroom in the world – TRUFFLE.
The four of us all have a history in the truffle business through three generations. Namely we all have our own brands in Croatia: brothers Deni and Mikele – Kranjčić truffles, Ivan – Karlić truffles, Paulo – Premium truffles. But for the big Japanese market we decided to get together by the name ‘World of Truffles’.
Our mission is to promote the istrian truffle which is a truffle of high quality and excellence, made to be served in the best restaurants of the world.
